Our building process
Having a proven process assures success in all stages of building a new home.
1 – CONTACT
We invest time to understand your needs over the phone and then we look at what we need for an effective face-to-face meeting. This free consultation will clarify more of your timelines, budgets and how your vision and our expertise will make your dream home happen.
2 – DESIGN PROCESS
Once we have covered the basic requirements, we will either engage with our design consultants or yours and get your plans ready to be submitted to council. We make sure all the relevant information is available so the whole construction process will be a smooth as silk.
3 – PRICING
Once we’ve got the working drawings for your new house build, we will prepare a formal estimate. This will provide a scope of works which includes any sub trades. We offer both charge-up or comprehensive fixed-price options for all builds. The next steps will be to go over all of this information with you.
4 – PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Edwards Builders uses a proven management process to meet milestone and keep you informed with progress payments. Throughout your project, we will involve you in key aspects such as your kitchen, bathroom and main fixtures to make sure that we maintain flow. This streamlines the construction process and keeps you up to date on project progress.
5 – CONSTRUCTION
After consent has been passed, Beau will oversee the project management and provide weekly scheduled reports. This minimises any variations and keep to a professional timeline.
6 – COMPLETION
Edwards builders will assist right through to final inspection and will complete CCC (Code of Compliance). We want you to be proud of your home and client satisfaction is our absolute number one priority.
